How to Make "Transformation" Happen??

1. Stop Starting, Start Stopping
Subtraction is the new addition to change.
• Remove items that don't scale up
• Eliminate roadblocks to execution

2. Cut Down on Things that People Don't Use 
There is a lot of dead weight that we all carry that is hidden in plain sight.
• Identify all the non-practiced processes and remove them.
• Identify all metrics that nobody trusts and eliminate them.

3. Focus Only on Business Outcomes
Activity does not equal productivity.
• Shut down projects that do not have associated measurements.
• New resource allocation should be made towards activities that produce results.

4. Replace Meetings with Action
Meetings do not improve systems.
• Reduce the amount of time spent coordinating.
• Focus on execution, not on discussion.

5. Develop 90 Days of Reality 
Transformation should be evident in the organization's operations.
• Ask yourself the question: "What do I need to see in 90 days for this to be successful?"
• Measure no longer by narrative, but by reality.
