You shouldn't sound smart; you should sound useful.
❌ "Managed the transformation of all four areas of the enterprise."
✅ "Completed restructuring of an asset-based revenue-producing Go-To-Market model within 90 days."
Conveying real business results is far more important than using excessive executive terminology.
R: Relevance
No one cares about yesterday’s organizational charts.
What they care about is today's problems.
And by the way, stop listing everything you do.

U: Utility
Nowadays, it appears that anyone can formulate a strategy and have it executed.
Good leaders back this up by either of the following on a consistent basis:
• revenue impact.
• cost savings.
• growth acceleration.

Receipts are preferred to titles in the market․
T: Tension
Many senior executives are out of touch․
Solve that instantly․
Say things like:

👉 “I still close deals myself․”
👉 “I still operate in the weeds․”
Hands-on leadership suddenly matters again․
H: Humility
Corporate theatre is losing importance very quickly.
Less:

More:
✅ builder
✅ operator
✅ execution-oriented leader
Why? Because being of service creates growth in your business.
